FISHY SWEATER KIDS KNITTING PATTERN
Knitting pattern kids wool sweater. Cute sweater knitted in Hip Wool yarn. Knitted bottom up. When making the arm opening you divide to a front- and backpiece and knit separate. Sew or knit together over shoulders (video link in pattern). Arms are knitted top-down.

Positive ease approx + 15 cm measured around chest for a comfy fit. If the child measures 43 cm around chest size 2 years will be the best fit (= positive ease +17 cm). Choose a size based on the width and adjust length in arms and body if necessary. Remember that you need to have the right gauge if the measurements are to be correct. It is important to choose the right needlesize.

Beacause of the pattern the sweater will not stretch much after wash / steaming. If your child is between 2 sizes – go up in size and knit body / arms in length after the “correct” size.

Needles: 4 mm circular 40 and 60 cm and double pointed needles. Needlesize 5 mm circular 60 cm and DPN.
