Inspired by the late 19th century architecture of my neighborhood, Fisher Hill is a cowl featuring Front and Back Post stitches in a brick pattern. The directions are given for a long infinity scarf version that can be worn doubled, but alterations in size are easily made by varying the number of stitches in multiples of ten. A contrast color edging is optional.

The sample is worked in Spirit Trail Fiberworks Lyra, a wool-alpaca blend, which has been discontinued. Any worsted weight (10ply) wool-alpaca or wool-alpaca-silk blend such as Berocco Ultra Alpaca may be substituted.
