I am happy and honoured to be celebrating by her side with a new addition to the Filigree Family, which has been our signature collaboration.
Welcome to the Filigree Triangle, a 2-skein and 2-colour shawl that revisits the Filigree lace motif with a surprising intarsia twist.
The triangle can be worked with only a simple i-cord border all along the edges, or with a little extra brioche two-colour loveliness as the ultimate finishing touch (come on, you know you want to!) .

YARN
Norne Yarn, Yak Singles, 65% merino 20% silk 15% yak, 480 m / 525 yds/ 120 g.
Col A: Fimbulwinter (light greyish blue) 1 skein / 340 m / 372 yds
Col B: Ice One Night Old (dark icy blue) 1 skein / 340 m / 372 yds

Equivalent: fingering weight yarn, in solid or semi-solid colours. I recommend A, which will be the main colour in the brioche border, being the lighter colourway.

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
3.5 mm / US 4 circular needles, or size required to obtain gauge; tapestry needle; self-locking marker

GAUGE
19 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm / 4” over tiara lace pattern after blocking
Gauge is not crucial but will affect yarn quantity requirements.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Length from triangle tip to upper edge: 66 cm / 26”
Wingspan along upper edge: 164 cm / 64.5”

C’est une grande joie et un honneur pour moi de fêter son succès à ses côtés en ajoutant un nouveau design à notre collaboration signature : la Famille Filigree.
Filigree Triangle est un châle triangulaire bicolore qui revisite le motif dentelle de la famille Filigree avec une petite surprise inattendue : l’intarsia !
Filigree Triangle peut se tricoter avec une simple finition en cordelette i-cord ou avec une bordure en brioche bicolore (soyons honnêtes cependant, ce serait vraiment dommage de se priver de la bordure briochée !)

FOURNITURES
Norne Yarn, Yak Singles, 65% mérinos 20% soie 15% yak, 480 m / 525 yds/ 120 g.
Col A : Fimbulwinter (bleu-gris très clair) 1 écheveau / 340 m / 372 yds
Col B : Ice One Night Old (bleu glacier) 1 écheveau / 340 m / 372 yds

Equivalent : laine de type “fingering” (366 à 425 m pour 100 g en moyenne) dans un coloris uni ou très discrètement moucheté pour que la dentelle soit bien visible. Je recommande d’utiliser le coloris le plus clair pour A, afin que ce coloris soit la couleur principale de la brioche

Aiguilles circulaires 3.5 mm ou la taille nécessaire pour obtenir l’échantillon ; aiguille à coudre la laine ; marqueur refermable

ECHANTILLON
19 m. x 30 rgs = 10 cm / 4” en motif dentelle « tiare » après blocage
Le respect de l’échantillon n’est pas crucial mais peut affecter les quantités de fil nécessaires.
