Fethaland
Fethaland is a slouchy beanie featuring a lovely zig zagging Fair Isle pattern. 
This is a great project for using up any small amounts of fingering weight yarn you might have lying around. 
This hat is worked bottom up and begins with a twisted rib for the brim followed by stockinette stitch in the rnd and stranded colorwork.
Size 
19 inches circumference at brim, 21.5 inches circumference at widest point in body of hat and 9.5 inches tall.
Needles 
US 3/3.25mm 16” circular needles 
US 4/3.5mm 16” circular needles 
US 4/3.5mm set of dpn’s or long circular (if working magic loop for crown of hat)
Yarn 
Fingering Weight Yarn in the following amounts: 
200 yards of MC, 60 Yards of CC1 and 30 yards of CC2. 
Shown in Brooklyn Tweed Loft (100% American Targhee-Columbia 
Wool; 275 yards/50g) in Artifact(MC)/Woodsmoke (CC1)/Hayloft (CC2) and Woodsmoke (MC)/Nest (CC1)/Faded Quilt (CC2)

Gauge 
26 sts and 34 rnds= 4 inches in Fair Isle pattern and Stockinette Stitch in the rnd on US 4 needles after blocking. 
25 sts and 36 rnds= 4 inches in Twisted Ribbing on US 3 needles after blocking.
