Step into the glow of a summer night, where lanterns light the sky and music fills the air. Feria is a celebration in stitches, an airy, joyful wrap that captures the rhythm and color of a lively festival.

Feria is worked entirely in garter stitch, including the lace. This wrap has a soft, textured feel that makes it a pleasure to knit and wear. Garter-based lace adds an easy, open elegance, while bold bands of mosaic knitting dance across the fabric in contrasting colors, like lanterns strung between rooftops at dusk.

With intuitive stitch patterns and playful color shifts, Feria is engaging from cast-on to bind-off. Generously sized and easy to wear, Feria is the perfect companion for cool evenings, summer parties, or whenever you need a little extra light.

The wrap is a rectangular shape, knitted sideways on a bias. You can adjust the width by casting more or fewer stitches. The length is adjusted by working more or fewer lace repeats. The pattern can be worked from the written instructions or charts.

You can use any number of colors. The sample shown uses one full skein for an MC and 6 (133-yard) skeins for a CC.

YARN: Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply (100% Superwash Merino)

• (MC) - 1 full skein in Plover ( 400 yd / 110g )
• (CC) - 6 Toes in Sweet Gum, French Marigold, Muchness, Dragon Claw, River Severn, Blue Parakeet ( 133 yd / 38 g each )

NEEDLES: US #4 / 3.5 mm (or as required to get the gauge)

NOTIONS: darning needle.

GAUGE:

• 20 sts x 49 rows = 4” in mosaic pattern.
• 20 sts x 34 rows = 4” in lace pattern.

The exact gauge is not crucial for this project, but it will affect the yardage and finished size if different from above.
