Felted Saddle Blanket
Pattern is on page 48.
Materials:
- Noro Kureyon - 14 skeins
- Circular needles size #10 or size to obtain gauge
- Stitch markers
- Yarn needle
Description:
I got the idea for this blanket while watching my daughter, Lilly, take her riding lesson. Beautiful Noro Kureyon yarn, a hnd-dyed self-striping wool from Japan, is worked in a classic chevron pattern and then felted. It is sturdy enough for the wear and tear of a big saddle and soft enough to protect the horse’s back.
