Feather Dance Shawl
May 2017 is the fifth month of Mountian Color’s year long 25th Anniversary Celebration. As their featured designer this month Amy created this fantastic shawl pattern!
Inspired by my grandmother’s doily pattern from 1942, the Feather Dance Shawl transforms large petal motifs into long beautiful feather motifs. It’s shape is more crescent than half moon, and it’s look is more elegant than casual. This delicate shawl easily makes the transition from summer garden party to an evening at the theater.
