Fara Raglan
For this raglan, Courtney Kelley paired a traditionally inspired Fair Isle design with retro styling in simple top-down construction. Featuring plain stripes alternating peerie bands, single rounds of dark brown separate the two, adding a lively punch to the appealing color combination - the sparkling teal blue of a stormy sea illuminated by a ray of light and the tan of windswept grasses close to shore. Courtney keeps the knitting interesting by including a different easy-to-memorize peerie pattern in each band. Worked in a sumptuous blend of baby alpaca, merino and bamboo, Fara promises to be a luxurious, lively and enjoyable knit.
