Fancy Threads
Most of the time, we knit dressy looks on the standard gauge machine. This pattern gives bulky knitters a turn at elegance.
YARN, GAUGE AND MACHINE
1 strand of Caron Eco run along with 1 strand of Tamm Estilo on the bulky machine at stitch size 6 gets a gauge of 4 stitches/6 rows/inch. Choose similar colors so that they blend. The Estilo gives the Eco a more polished look. A machine with patterning capability is needed but a ribber is not. Caron Eco is a very pleasant yarn to work with and it is made from recycled soda bottles! Two trim options are given. One is machine knitted, the other is crocheted.
