Family Brioche Beanie
This is the same hat as the Blackthorn Brioche Beanie with additional sizes added: Newborn, Child S, L, Adult S/M, L.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Circumference—unstretched: 9¾ (12½, 14¾, 17¼, 19½)”
Note on sizes: These hats stretch a great deal. The size L will stretch to fit a 23” head.
Note on difficulty: This is a good beginning Brioche pattern but be aware that the decrease used is fussy. Done with a K3tog, you have to knit five strands together. I found that using a crochet hook in place of the right needle, then slipping the resulting stitch to the right needle, helped. My tester and I both found that we tended to drop the middle stitch unless we were careful.
Note on gauge: I have counted each pass around the needle as a round, so each stitch is only worked every other round. The row gauge reflects this.
