The instructions contain 2 patterns. The first is really simple combination of double crochet and treble stitches (UK) and the second introduces as new stitch (’V’ stitch).

The Mustard shawl in the image is option 2 and the dark green with the edging is option 1.

Both designs are a shallow ‘V’ shape, which is great for tucking in under your coat or wearing every day.

You can use a single colour, or choose a variegate hand-dyed yarn for a great effect.

For best results, block before wearing and don’t forget to add a little pompom or tassel to the ends, for a bit of fun.

You could use the pattern with double knitting yarn - I would estimate that you would need around 150g (perfect for a yarn cake).
