The “Fairy Dance” Sweater is a round yoke sweater knitted seamlessly from the top down. The yoke starts with a section in stockinette, which also includes short rows. It evolves into a floral colorwork yoke motif. The body is knit in stockinette and finished with a colorwork detail before the ribbing. For the sleeves, the pattern includes instructions for a long or short sleeve version. The neckline ribbing is knitted afterwards by picking up sts.

The pattern includes reverse charts for all colorwork sections and a detailed schematic.

“Fairy Dance” is inspired by a playful love and longing for the awakening of nature in spring. All life awakens and blossoms after the winter dormancy and shines in the light of the new annual cycle. This atmosphere in spring is a very special and almost magical moment for me every year, which I really enjoy and want to embody with this design.

This is a light and playful sweater for spring or autumn and could also be knitted with short sleeves as a summer tee.
