Description

The Everyday V is a casual short- sleeved top with a V-neck that works with every outfit. The yarn options for this top are endless, depending on the style you wish to create.

The summer version pictured above is knit using a cotton-linen blend, which creates a light and airy top, perfect for the warmer months of the year.

The Everyday V is knit from the bottom up in the round. Once you reach the armholes, front and back are worked separately, then the shoulder stitches are knit together using a three-needle bind-off technique.

The sleeves are worked from the top down, by picking up stitches along the armhole edges, then working with short rows until all the stitches are worked. A delicate ribbed binding at the armhole edges and neckline gives an elegant finish to the top.

The neckline edge is also worked by picking up stitches along the neckline, then working back and forth in the same ribbing as the sleeve edges. Finally, the edges of the neckline are sewn in order to form a folded V-neck at the front.
