Evergreen
Evergreen is a reversible, double knit, infinity scarf or cowl that encircles your neck with warmth and comfort. Suitable for someone brand new to double knitting, this pattern provides all the information a knitter needs to try this technique. It is quickly learned and there are no fussy stitches to manage, just knits and purls. Of course, even a seasoned double knitter will enjoy working on this calming evergreen pattern.
For those unfamiliar, double knitting is a technique that creates two “right” sides at the same time, thus creating a reversible fabric. Two strands of yarn are alternated and worked simultaneously in a stitch pair. The stitch pair consists of two stitches, one from each strand of yarn. The first stitch in the pair is knit and the second is purled.
