Enez Ilur is a sweater with sheer and solid stripes. We alternate between airy, lightweight lace yarn used by itself and soft fingering merino. This sweater is light as a feather, like wearing a fluffy cloud, but it certainly excels at keeping the chill at bay!
Bands of stripes, twisted ribbing, and textured shell body compose this fun-to-knit yoke, is worked seamlessly in one piece in the round from the top down. The yoke is worked in stripe colour sections of twisted ribbing with increases in the round, The end of yoke part includes carefully placed short-rows for back neck shaping are worked in rib before separation with the sleeves. Once the ribbing part is complete the sleeves are put on hold on a piece of waste yarn and new stitches are cast on for the underarms. The cuffs and lower edge are finished with twisted ribbing hems. The body is worked straight until the hem shown a flowery pattern motif in ribbing. There is no body shaping past the armholes. Sleeves are knit in stockinette..The sleeves are worked at the end, either on double-pointed needles or on circular needles using the Magic Loop technique. The sleeves and body can easily be lengthened by adding more rounds.

Yarn Entire garment worked with 2 different strands of yarn used alternatively.
