Enchantment Shawl
A land as diverse as the creatures living in it, Middle-Earth is home to Elves, Men, Dwarves, Hobbits, Wizards, Ents, and many other beings living across plains, mountains, caves, rivers, and forests. The Middle-Earth timeline is divided into three parts—Years of Lamps, Years of Trees, and Years of Sun. The Years of Sun is further divided into the Four Ages. It is in the Third Age that the Fellowship is formed to destroy the One Ring and restore peace across the lands.
As enchanting as the world of Middle-Earth itself, this stunning beaded shawl will make you feel like Elven royalty. With the body of the shawl worked in one piece in stockinette stitch from end to end, the beaded motif is placed along the length of the shawl. After the body is finished, stitches are picked up along the bottom edge with the beaded lace leaf border worked outward. All the lace patterning is worked only on the right side, except for bead placement, with the wrong-side rows simply purled across. A good blocking will open the stunning lacework.
