Chunky yarn is highly recommended for this project to make it cosy and luscious. I used an 8mm hook but have loose tension so you may need to size up. I used approx 250m per rainbow stripe and I used appox 600m for the contrast shade in between and border.

I chose a rainbow colour palette but this throw would be lovely in many colour themes -
neutrals, monotone or even festive!

It is made up of rows of crossed HTR(HDC) The pattern is written in UK terms with US terms in brackets.

It is a lovely meditative pattern suitable for a beginner.
