Shown in Cascade Yarn’s UltraPima (100% Pima Cotton; 220 yds per 100 g skein); color – Major Teal #3774; 3(4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6) skeins or, for comparable yarn, approximately 625(695, 780, 860, 965, 1035, 1120) yards/ 572(636, 714, 787, 883, 947, 1025) m.
I always have additional yarn on-hand for swatching.
Needles
US6 / 4mm or size to obtain gauge
• 1 24 to 32”/ 60 to 80 cm circular (choose length shorter than bust/hip measure).
• 1 24”/ 60 cm circular or 1 pair straight (for upper bodice)
• 1 16”/ 40 cm circular (for neckline trim)
• 1 set double-pointed (for armhole trim)
Notions
• Stitch markers (color variety is helpful for differentiating stitch points and lace repeat sets)
• Stitch holders
• Tapestry needle
• T-pins for blocking, blocking wires (recommended, not required).
GAUGE after blocking
• 22.4 sts and 30 rows = 4”/ 10.2 cm in Stockinette stitch
• 19 sts and 30.4 rows = 4”/ 10.2 cm in Chevron lace
SKILLS REQUIRED
Long-tail CO, decreases (SKP, k2tog, p2tog, p2tog tbl), increases (yo), lace shaping – shaping notes included, stitch pick up around neckline, short row shaping and 3-needle BO (at the shoulders).
