Emerald & Sapphire cowl
This is an easy pattern that you can customize to your liking and it’s perfect for stashbusting.
Make it using any yarn with suitably sized needles. Gauge isn’t crucial and it doesn’t need stitch counts except on the yarn over rows.
Instructions are included to customize it and make it your own.
The WS is just as pretty, with a rather impressionistic play of colours, so it’s reversible too!
Perfect for a quick gift particularly if you keep it medium sized, and a nice beginner lace project.
The project uses a modification of the “feather and fan” stitch pattern from Barbara Walker’s Treasury of Knitting.
Yarn: Bulky acrylic 7.5 wpi, 50 gm/45 metres per ball. Colour A Light bluish-green, B Lime green, C Medium bluish-green, D Forest green, E Dark teal, F Peacock blue, G Lavender blue, H Grape. Approx yarn usage: 1 ball each of A, B, C, D, E, and F and half a ball each of G and H.
