Elsa ribbed scarf
Elsa ribbed scarf is made in 2 x 2 twisted rib. It’s worked from the top, down towards the tip with increases. The size can easily be adjusted. Make fewer/more rows to get the size you want.
Sizes: One size.
Yardage: 150-200 g Drops Puna (50 g = 110 meter / 120 yds). The yarn consumption is exactly between three and four balls of Drops Puna, but if you tend to knit a little looser, you may need to start a fourth ball of yarn. An alternative is to work a few rows shorter before casting off.
Needles: Circular needles 4 mm (US 6) (or the needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge) at least 60 cm (24 inches), for instense 80 cm (32 inches) long.
Gauge: 26 sts in width and 30 rows in height in 2 x 2 twisted rib = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) after wash and blocking.
Measurements: Approx. 100 cm (39,4 in) wide in the upper edge and 40 cm (15,7 in) in height down towards the tip.
Other materials: A tapestry needle and four markers.
