Elodia Hat
by Sarah Jordan
Designed to match my Elodia Mitts and Elodia Socks, this slouchy hat is the perfect lightweight accessory for those days when there’s just a touch of cold in the air. Starting with a twist-rib brim for a snug fit, this hat knits up quickly -- you’re almost ready to start the crown decreases once you’ve finished the lace panel. The amount of slouch is easy to adjust and the stretchiness of the fabric provides a forgiving fit.
To knit this pattern, you need to know how to:
- work lace stitches using a chart or written instructions,
- work twisted stitches,
- work lifted increases, and
- work basic decreases.
Yarn requirements: Approximately 220 (260, 320) yds./201 (238, 292.5) m of fingering weight yarn
