A deep garter stitch border frames and compliments the delicate cables and textures within this 4 Ply hand knit.
This blanket may look difficult, but if you know how to work a simple C4F (Cable 4 Front) C4B (Cable 4 Back) and C2F (Cable 2 Front) this could be your next cable knit project. Detailed row by row instructions and charts help to make this pattern easy to follow.
The blanket shown here has been hand knitted in Rowan Super Fine Merino 4ply. Choose any 4 Ply yarn that knits to the tension listed below.

You will need:
400 gm Rowan Super Fine Merino 4ply yarn (approx 1450 yards)
NOTE: When choosing an alternative yarn use the yardage to calculate the gms required.
A pair of extra long single pointed knitting needles (minimum length 40cms) or a fixed circular needle in the following sizes:
3mm (US2.5) & 3.25mm (US3)
A cable needle 3.25mm (US3)
