Long gloves were a fashion staple during the Regency era. They reached above the elbow but often slipped down and pooled around the wrist. Sometimes the tops were held up with garters or ribbons.
These elegant gloves start at the top with delicate scallops. A lace pattern creates a long-stemmed flower down the length of the arm and terminates on the back of the hand. A pretty ribbon threaded through garter-stitch eyelets helps hold them up.
