Edoras is a unisex sock pattern appearing in MKAL format in November 2018. The pattern was designed for the Dutch Sokkenbreien group at Ravelry and it is available in both English and Dutch. The featured technique is Bavarian twisted stitches, so be prepared for lots of cable-y goodness.

There are 3 sizes available: Small (64 stitches), Medium (72 stitches) and Large (80 stitches)

You’ll need approximately 80 to 110 grams of light fingering weight sock yarn. For the sample pair I used 80 grams of Lanitium ex Machina Basic sock (420 meters per 100 grams) for size Medium

Other materials required are needles for working small circumferences in the round, a cable needle if you use one for cabling, at least 3 stitch markers, and a tapestry needle

Edoras is de samenbreisok (SSOK) voor de maand november in de Sokkenbreigroep op Ravelry in 2018. De techniek gedraaide steken, dus bereid je maar voor op veel heerlijke kabels.

Er zijn 3 maten voorzien: Small (64 steken), Medium (72 steken) en Large (80 steken)

Je hebt ongeveer 80 tot 110 gram sokkengaren nodig om deze sokken te breien. Voor mijn test paar gebruikte ik 80 gram Lanitium ex Machina Basic sock (420 meter per 100 grams) voor maat Medium

Voorts heb je ook naalden om in een ronde te werken, een kabelnaald als je deze gebruikt om kabels te breien, minstens 3 stekenmarkeerders en een wolnaald nodig
