Easy Peasy Rose Tee

Here is the pattern for your new light, oversized tee featuring wide rib edges and a beautifully defined shoulder line. The Rose Tee is worked on large needles using two strands held together — one strand of Önling No 14, our ultra-soft Lyocell yarn, and one strand of Önling No 21, our classic cotton and linen blend.

The tee is worked in the round from the top down and is a part of our Easy Peasy series. Therefore, the pattern is written in a simple and beginner friendly language - without abbreviations. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced knitter, Rose Tee will be a cozy knitting project that you’ll love to wear all summer long.

Notions

1 stitch marker

Stitch holder or piece of yarn

Gauge
16 stitches and 19 rows in stockinette stitch on needle 6 mm / US 10 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.
19 stitches and 24 rows in wide ribbing on needle 4.5 mm / US 6 = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches.

Procedure
The tee is worked top down. You start with a provisional cast-on, and the front and back are worked back and forth separately before being joined under the arms, from where the body is worked in the round. The provisional cast-on is then unraveled to work the upper ribbing and the shoulders are bound off with a clean, defined shoulder line to create a polished finish around the neck and shoulders. The body is finished with the lower ribbing, worked in the round. The sleeves are worked from the armhole, where stitches are picked up and worked in the round.
The length of both the body and the sleeves can easily be adjusted. There are links to video tutorials for all the techniques used in the pattern.
