Easiest cardigan
The pattern is available as part of the Easy-knit cardigans ebook.
All 3 cardigans in the book are the same basic shape, but using different stitches.
This is the easiest in the series (but probably also the easiest possible way to make a cardigan - it’s worked top down so you can try it on and make adjustments as you go) .
If you knit the sleeves in the round, you can make it reversible.
You can adjust the finished size by adjusting your gauge
The cardigan is designed to be worn open - the two fronts do not meet.
The measurement is taken laid flat with the front open as it will be for wear.
17.5 sts = equivalent to finished bust of 46”
16 sts = equivalent to finished bust of 48”
15 sts = equivalent to finished bust of 52”
you can knit with a single yarn
or hold 2 yarns together to get gauge
approx. 1000m if using single yarn
a little less than 1000m of each yarn if holding double.
the pattern is currently one size (see sizing info above) - if you would be interested in working on making a larger size, please PM me.
