Dragon Scale Shrug Plus Sizes
This shrug is written for a custom fit with loose fitting sleeves, covering only the arms and the back across the shoulder blades with a long tie “closure” across the collarbone in the front.
Difficulty:
Advanced Intermediate
(Must have knowledge of how to work around the post of a stitch. Previous knowledge of the Crocodile Stitch is helpful, but there are many tutorials online to learn the basics of the stitch pattern.)
Sizes:
Back – 18” (19”, 20”) Measured from shoulder to shoulder over the shoulder blades. Length is customized by the armhole measurement of the finished sleeve.
Sleeves – 8” ( 9”, 10”) Wrist Circumference, at the least 1” larger than actual wrist measurement. Length is customizable.
Materials:
Aunt Lydia’s Classic Crochet Cotton (size 10),
Between approx 3,000yds to 5,000+ yds of thread
I used the giant ball (2,730yds) of the Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Cotton
3.25 mm hook or size for gauge
