Dr Jeykll and Mr Hyde Film 1931

This sock is my contribution to the Scary Sock KAL 2024.
It is free to members using the code published in the Google Group and will be available generally once the KAL is finished at the price shown.

This sock in keeping with the title is a sock of two halves – literally
The sock patterning is split straight down the sock, with one half in a structured basketweave pattern to represent Dr Jeykll and the other side a diagonal zigzag textured stitch to represent the chaotic nature of his alter ego Mr Hyde.
It’s up to you whether you want to have your split personality sock front to back or side by side equally, if you choose side by side you can have them the same or opposite. Instructions will be given for all options, so don’t worry.
A semi solid sock yarn would be best for this pattern, but if you want to you can go wild with whatever takes your fancy.
To make the sock bigger, you can either add multiples of 16 sts, or use a slightly thicker yarn or bigger needles, depending on how much you need to size the sock up by.
Just remember, if you do size it up you will probably need more yarn.
