DotDotDot Cowl
Mari Chiba
Knitted in a tube (there’s no wrong side!) with stranded colorwork techniques, this cool cowl is extra thick and has big impact in a charcoal solid and southwestern ombré accent yarn.
Finished Size 22¼” circumference and 8″ tall.
Yarn Freia Semi-Solid Worsted (100% wool; 85 yd 77 m/1¾ oz 50 g): charcoal (MC), 2 balls. Freia Ombré Worsted (100% wool; 127 yd 115 m/2.6 oz 75 g): South Beach (CC), 1 ball.
Needles Size 8 (5 mm): 16″ circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); 3 removable m; size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook; smooth waste yarn in contrasting color for provisional CO; spare size 8 (5 mm) or smaller 16″ cir needle for grafting; tapestry needle.
Gauge 16 sts and 20 rnds = 4″ in St st.
