Dorothy est un châle évolutif et joyeux, pensé comme une aventure tricotée au fil des jours. Il débute tout en douceur avec le coloris principal, qui forme la base et le fil conducteur de l’ouvrage.

Puis, l’un après l’autre, 12 couleurs contrastantes viennent raconter leur propre histoire : chaque coloris apporte une bande contrastante travaillée dans un point différent, mettant à l’honneur une nouvelle texture ou une technique à découvrir. Ces sections colorées rythment le tricot, créant un mélange harmonieux de nuances et de motifs.

Tout au long du châle, la forme s’épanouit grâce à des jetés placés de chaque côté sur les rangs endroits.
Entre chaque couleur, une transition en coloris principal — structurée par des augmentations sur un seul rang — permet d’ouvrir le motif avant d’accueillir la prochaine teinte.

Dorothy is an evolving, joyful shawl, designed as a knitted adventure unfolding day by day. It begins gently with the main color, which forms the foundation and guiding yarn of the project.

Then, one after another, 12 contrasting colors come in to tell their own stories: each shade introduces a contrasting stripe worked in a different stitch pattern, highlighting a new texture or technique to discover. These colorful sections set the rhythm of the knitting, creating a harmonious blend of colors and motifs.

Throughout the shawl, the shape blossoms thanks to yarn overs placed on both sides of the right-side rows.
Between each color, a transition in the main color—structured by increases worked on a single row—opens up the pattern before welcoming the next shade.
