Doll's Bridal Set
This pattern includes the dress, overskirt, and hat.
Yarn: The pattern calls for “lightweight knitting worsted or sport yarn.”
One oz. main color, small amount lightweight angora or mohair for accent.
Additional materials: 10” length of narrow satin ribbon; 11” diameter circle of tulle
The dress is worked flat in one piece with a back seam. It slips on with no fastenings.
The overskirt is worked in one piece and fastens with a length of ribbon.
The hat is worked in one piece in rounds. An 11” circle of tulle is sewn to the center of the hat to serve as a veil.
Sized for a Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure: 5.5”/3.125”/5”. The fit may vary on modern dolls.
