This lightweight shawlette is perfect to wrap around your shoulders in the summertime - especially during those dog days where life slows down and tall glasses of lemonade are a necessity. This shawlette is great for stashbusting -- it uses about half a skein of two fingering weight colors. This pattern features a long stretch of garter stitch (for when you are knitflixing!), mosaic colorwork, and simple lacework.

One Size. 13” (33 cm) wingspan and 74” (188 cm) deep, measured after a light blocking

• (C1) Black Trillium Fibres, “Lilt Sock” (85% Merino, 15% Mulberry Silk) Fingering wt, 405 yds (370 m), 3.5 oz (100 g) in For the Trees Approx. 263 yds (370 m), 2.3 oz (65 g) required
• (C2) Lorna’s Laces, “Solemate” (55% Superwash Merino, 15% Nylon, 30% Outlast Viscose) Fingering wt, 425 yds (389 m), 3.5 oz (100 g) in 716 Calgary * Approx 276 yds (252 m), 2.3 oz (88 g) required*

Gauge:
27 stitches and 34 rows = 4” /10 cm in garter stitch using smaller needles. Exact gauge is not critical but will affect the size of the scarf and yarn requirements.

Techniques Required:
Knit stitch, mosaic colorwork (instructions included), standard increases and decreases, simple lace (YO’s and k2tog only).
