This DK hat comes in two versions with two brim and length options meaning that there are 8 possible different hats you can make out of this one pattern. The hat is simple with a clean cast on edge from a cable cast-on and finished with a square crown shaped with decreases.

All versions of the hat begin the same and from there you chose your fabric type: stockinette or ribbed, your brim version: single brim or folded, and your crown: beanie (tight fitting) or slouchy. The pattern is laid out below with the changes noted at key points.
The crown shaping and decreases for all hat types are written out row by row with stitch counts to eliminate guess work as you proceed through the pattern.

Yarn Needed:

Beanie - 100m DK weight yarn
Slouchy with no brim or Beanie with Brim - 150m DK weight yarn
Slouchy with brim - 200m DK weight yarn

The Rib Only versions of the hat are knit entirely on 3.5mm needles, the version with Stockinette also uses a 4mm needle.
