This cardigan has been inspired from the texture of stumps. A diamond shaped texture is paired with 1X1 ribbing and a wide shawl collar. Each front and back are worked back and forth in one piece, from the bottom up. Each sleeve is worked top down from the armhole in the round.

• Yarn NutMeg Fibers Cottage (100% US Merino; 100g/180yds165m) Mustard 8 (9, 9, 10, 11, 13) hanks

• Needle size US8 (5.0mm) 32”/80cm
  circular for texture pattern. US7
  (4.5mm) 32”/80cm circular for 1X1 rib pattern.

• Notions 8 markers, tapestry needle,
  spare large needle, stitch holder or
  scrap yarn, 5 buttons of size 0.75”/2cm diameter.

• Gauge 20ts X 28row = 4”/10cm in
  diamond texture pattern using US8
  (5.0mm) needles, blocked.
