Sleeveless split-side vest featuring a geometric diamond pattern with its interplay of solid and lacy spaces. Lovely for layering over just about anything from easy breezy tops and bottoms to a fitted tanks.
Make it your own with fun popcorn bobbles or skip them, pick your perfect length, and decide how you want the neckline to feel: sleek and simple, bold and doubled for extra structure.
Construction Notes
The pop-over is worked flat in a two panels from the bottom up, then pieces are sewn together along shoulders, leaving sides open. I-cord ties attached to the side edges. The Neck band is worked circularly from picked up stitches, folded and stitch down to the inside of the cast-on edge.
The garment does not have a true circumference; for best results choose a size whose cross-front panel width is narrower than the wearer’s cross-front upper chest measurement (from underarm to underarm).
