Diamonds Shawl
I found this diamond motif in a stitch reference book and
immediately fell in love with it. I played around with the
design for a while before I mastered it, increasing motifs within
motifs to achieve this unique look. The shawl is crocheted
from the top down, and the body of the shawl is increased by
strategically inserting a new motif at the halfway point of the
previous motif in every row. This lovely lacy shawl was actually
the first piece I created for this book, and it set the tone for
everything else.
