This cuddly blanket is designed with both bold and subtle diamonds. The border rows of diamonds are very distinct, while in the center, it takes 4 squares to form the larger, starlike diamonds. Using only knit and purl stitches, this blanket is quick and easy to knit. It was designed with Grandmas in mind. Doesn’t every grandma need a blanket to keep at her house for those special visits?

The smaller blanket is approximately 29”x 31” and would make a great car seat blanket. In needs 800-900 yards worsted weight yarn. The larger blanket, approximately 36”x 36” in size, would make a great napping blanket and needs 1100-1200 yards worsted weight yarn. Both were knit on a size 7 circular needle.
