Design Experiment
Be part of my Design Experiment!
This design is the result of an experiment I am conducting which began by posting a variety of questions listing possible choices made while designing a garment. The initial question determined the project as a CARDIGAN. Subsequent questions resulted in a top-down cardigan, with 3/4 length sleeves, using the yarn Cozette, featuring a stockinette stitch yoke and top of sleeves, with a combination of lace and cables at the lower sections. This free pattern (an in-progress design) is the result.
Cozette garnered the most vote for yarn (I selected orchid as the color). It is a fingering weight yarn, but worked with size 4 needles, it creates a lightweight fabric, perfect for summer wear.
Photo updates will also appear here, on the pattern, and in the Knit One, Crochet Too group.
Feel free to join us and knit-along!
