Desert Sage is a beautiful, flowering plant that thrives in the harshest conditions. It is native to the desert edge, surviving drought and pests to bloom in the scorching summer heat. It provides a refuge for hummingbirds and butterflies, passing on life-giving nutrients. It does not wilt under opposition, but shines radiant in a barren landscape.
This is who I want to be when I grow up. So I’m surrounding my head (and mind) with a Desert Sage Hat to remind myself of who I can be.
This ribbed hat knit in the round with some gorgeous sage-colored stripes. The pattern uses a simple, yet stunning technique to create clean stripes, even in your purl columns. Simple, mirrored decreases create a sleek X on the crown, making it a favorite for both men and women. With its stretchability, this hat makes an excellent gift. And it’s the perfect pattern for beginning knitters.
Make it a matching set with the Desert Sage Mitts & Desert Sage Socks or get a discount on all three with the ebook!
