Dennis Dragon & Mini Dennis
Dennis is a one skein Dragon
The pattern for him includes instructions for knitting the pieces flat and instructions for knitting the head, body, legs and feet and arms in the round.
Materials: 1 x 50g (1 3/4oz) skein of Coopknits ‘Socks Yeah! DK’ yarn in shade 209 (Demeter)
The other colourway is made from Skein Queen Crush DK in ‘Chesil Beach’
Small amount of white 4-ply (fingering) yarn (for the teeth)
Two black 6mm (1/4 in) toy safety eyes or oddment of black 4-ply (fingering) yarn
Toy Filling
To work flat:
Pair of 3mm (UK11, US 2 or 3) knitting needles
To work in the round: Set of 3mm (UK11, US 2 or 3)double pointed knitting needles
Notions: Darning needle, Stitch markers, Pins
Techniques: Cast on (which ever method you prefer), increasing and decreasing, applied i-cord (explained as you go through the pattern)
