These mitts are complete the coordinating set with the Darlington Hat. This design is named for the gentleman of Lethe from The Ninth House trilogy by Leigh Bardugo. Dive into a world of hidden gateways and portals, magic and the arcane, where nightmare and fantasy collide.

This pattern/design can be used with several different types of novelty yarn. It can be difficult to find patterns for these yarns, with their different fibers and textures, but it’s a different game when they’re held double with a “normal” yarn we’re accustomed to. Alternating yarn held double with a single strand, this beautiful and simple texture is enhanced and the concentric circles stand out when worn.

** Note:** This pattern does seem to use more yarn than usual. Yardage is listed for a single strand of Laines du Nord Vasto, ranging from 5.5” to 9.5” in hand circumference.
