Danie Cabled Glove
This is the fourth release from the Warm Hands, Warm Hearts collection. The seed for this design was sewn when I made a pair of fingerless gloves for my husband Sam. I love the combination of twisted stitch ribs and moss stitch with a cable that entwines on the back of the hand and knitting the 2nd and 3rd fingers in rib whilst the others fingers and thumb remain plain makes them a bit more unusual.
You could knit the gloves in a single colour but I felt that tipping the rib with a contrast colour was the perfect finishing touch.
The gloves are worked in the round on dpns are knitted in the Fuchsia shade of my Baby Alpaca DK with a tipping at the cast on in sh Chestnut
Pattern instructions are a combination of written and charted form
