After publishing the Dancing Dragonfly Mitten pattern, I had many people reach out to me and tell me how much they love the pattern because dragonflies mean something special to them; that they believe the dragonflies are lost loved ones coming back to visit. A very good friend of mine lost her battle with cancer as I was writing this pattern. I hope she comes back to visit me as a beautiful dragonfly. This pattern is dedicated to my lovely friend, Chris. May she dance as a dragonfly above the meadows.
