When the girls at the Unique Sheep asked me to design a shawl for this club I immediately thought of the beautiful Damask roses in my mothers garden.
Starting as tight yellow buds, as they open the roses slowly start to shade to pink and they have the most fabulous perfume.
One of the oldest variety of roses, their scent has been used in perfume for centuries.
The shawl is more than a semi circle 4 sections in fact rather than 3 . This was done purposely to make the shawl sit better on the shoulders.
