I love the look of handmade Dala horses and have tried to capture their special beauty in a crochet design.

This horse is crocheted in one continues piece! The only thing you’ll have to sew on are the decorations! It’s approximately 16cm or 6 1/4 inch tall at its highest point, but if you use different yarn and matching hook you can make it any size you like.

This is an intermediate amigurumi project, I wouldn’t advice it to beginners.

You’ll need:
Dk weight yarn in red, white and blue
Crochet hook 3mm or C
Stuffing
Needle
Optional: Stitch marker
