Make 1, 2 or 3! A drawstring project bag is perfect for supplies, extra yarn, a work in progress – or gift to a Maker friend. Use the same color for all the parts, or use accent colors for the drawstring and embroidery.
CONSTRUCTION

This project bag is worked in the round on 16” circular needles. 2 i-cords are created for each drawstring bag, and optional flower embroidery is added to the front.
SUPPLIES

Yarn needed for 3 bags as pictured:
3 skeins of Lion Brand Wool-Ease yarn in colors ‘Arrowood’, ‘Natural Heather’, and ‘Blush Heather’. (3oz, 85g, 197yd/180m ball), or similar worsted weight yarn.

5.0mm 16” (40 cm) circular needles
Two 2.75-3.5mm double pointed needles
Tools: 3 stitch markers, Scissors, Yarn needle, Measuring tape, Safety pin
GAUGE

Worked in the round & wet blocked
Stockinette: 18 sts x 24 rows = 4x4”(10 cm)
Final Project size: 10x10” (25x25 cm)
SKILLS

This pattern requires a working knowledge of knitting in the round, casting on and binding off. Experience with I-Cord and a folded edge will be helpful.
