Dagmar Scarf
Inspired by artist Pat Lipsky’s geometric colorplay, MillaMia’s Spring Geometrics collection celebrates texture in the double sided Dagmar scarf using a double knitting technique. Working both sides together, double knitting works in a similar way to Fair Isle - there are lots of tutorials online to explore if you haven’t tried this technique before. We love the drape from MillaMia’s Naturally Soft Cotton, and the crisp definition it brings to the colorwork.

HINTS AND TIPS
This scarf is two sided - created using the technique known as
’double-sided knitting’. There are many tutorials online which
can be helpful if you have not knitted in this way before. This
is in effect created like colourwork but without the challenges
of keeping the right tension that sometimes comes with a
fair isle pattern. You work into every loop on your needles but
taking care to swtich colours as per the grid pattern in the
instruction.
