A rippling stitch pattern and a richly colored yarn combine to evoke dappled glimmering seaweedy drifts in a light and airy lace fabric.
Dabberlocks is a type of seaweed with large fronds, a distinct midrib and wavy margins, known in Ireland as Láir or Láracha.

The shawl can be blocked or left unblocked.
