Cuterpillar Amigurumi Caterpillar Plush Toy
by cheezombie
Don’t let his cuteness blind you to the fact that he would devour your entire head of lettuce without even a hint of remorse.
The example was made with novelty eyelash yarn and various worsted weight (8 or 10 ply) wool yarns using US size 3/3.25mm needles, but almost any yarn could be used with the corresponding needle size. Cuterpillar measures approximately 7 inches long & 5 inches tall (including antennae). But of course size will change depending on choice of yarn & needle.
The body is worked in one piece in the round, and the eyeballs, arms, and legs are knit separately & sewn on.
This is an intermediate/advanced pattern with plenty of instructional photos & helpful links, & cheezombie is available for help via email as always.
