This charming baby bear hat pattern is a simple and quick knit, perfect for beginners and experienced knitters alike. Designed to fit babies aged 0–3 months, the beanie features an adorable bear face and playful pom-pom ears for a sweet and cozy finish.
The hat is knit in the round from the bottom up using double-pointed needles (DPNs), but it can also be worked on a long circular needle using the Magic Loop method.
The bear’s facial features are created with two techniques:
• The eyes and the black section of the muzzle are added using the duplicate stitch method.
• The white portion of the muzzle is incorporated during knitting using the intarsia technique.
